how can i recover "applications support" from time machine?

how can i recover "applications support" from time machine?

i read on a forum here that if i can recover this folder from time machine then all my apps like office 2011 and iworks 09 will open again.. same for garage band.

but i dont seem to be able to copy it accross or recover from time machine as it says it cant be modified as it is part odf the OSX

can anyone assist please???

It is a folder inside the (hidden) User Library. If you have been restoring your system, or migrated a user account, from a TM backup, you have gotten that folder back already. I'm sure you don't want to mess with that folder without knowing exactly what you are doing.
