Q: Ipod Classic 160 7th Generation - I don't see any settings in the menu.  I want to shuffle songs.

I just purchased I IPOD Classic 160 gig 7th generation and when I look at my menu, I have no settings listed.  I want to set it to shuffle mode within a genre.  Do I need to have this connected to the itunes software for this to show up?
