Q: I had to restore my phone back to factory settings because it was messing up. When I restarted it I chose to start it as a new phone, and now I can't get my of my contacts back. I've tried syncing with ICloud and no luck HELP

I restored my phone to factory settings. I chose to restart it as a new phone to avoid the problem I was having. Now I ant get any of my contacts back.  I cloud only has the contacts that weren't associated with Facebook (I had synced my contacts with Facebook prior to restarting my phone. Now when I synced with Facebook it doesn't have any of the phone numbers for the contacts. HELP ME GET MY NUMBERS BACK PLEASE

    if you eve made a backup of the iPhone BEFORE you did the reset, you can restore from that backup: rightclick the iPhone icon in iTunes and choose restore from backup: it will show you the available backups.

    Lex I never backed my phone up to

    My actual computer. I did everything through wifi and backed up daily to iCloud. Is there anyway to retrieve my contacts through iCloud?? When I look now it only shows the contacts that weren't linked to my Facebook acct. I appreciate the help!!

    Are the contacts on your phone to be the same as the contacts in your computer? if yes do following:

    In iTunes/Preferences/Devices   check the "Prevent iPods.... from syncing automatically".

    Connect your iPhone to iTunes by cable or set sync by WiFi on the Summary page.

    Then on the Info Page scroll down and check "contacts" under the "Advanced" heading.

    Then click "sync" in the right bottom of the page.
