I want to import an old 720x576 anamorphic clip into Final Cut Pro X (latest edition) but I cannot find a way to get the right format in the timeline.
What am I doing wrong?

When you create a new project, select Custom from the drop down menu and then make your slections in the provided entry fields for Format, etc.

Here's the image I meant to include (the "A" in the Resolution field is part of the word. Anamorphic).

BTW, in theory FCP should set the project settings based on the first clip you drag to the TimeLine. But I have heard some reports of problems with ANamorphic and using the custom setting is a solution.
