Has anyone ever seen a double beach ball?
System was on login screen for about a week. I woke screen from sleep and this is what was there....
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 27-inch, Mid 2011, 12GB RAM
Hi Layne, nope, never seen it, but have you rebooted & does it work?
I did reboot and it did work fine after reboot. I should have been more clear.
Is it still doing it on wake from sleep?
Open console in Applications>Utilities, check the system log for the date/time of the last problem & the Startup right after that for clues.
I was unable to find anything that stands out in the logs between the day I left the machine and the day IO returned.
I restarted the iMac before I left for a week and returned to the screen with the beachballs.
