snow leopard eject's without me pressing eject button

I'll assume this is a CD or DVD that you're inserting into the disk drive, and the drive might spin for a little and then ejects. If so, that's usually either a disk error or a drive error. Try a different CD or DVD, and try a different (external) CD or DVD drive, and see if either or both work. That'll usually tell you if it's the disk or the drive, too.
