please help. how do i burn an iphoto slideshow to dvd

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :

- What version of iPhoto.

- What version of the Operating System.

Export the slideshow at the Large size via this window:

Save the QT movie file to your Movies folder.

Open iDVD, select a theme. Drag the movie from the Movies folder into the open iDVD menu window being careful to avoid any drop zones.

Then follow this workflow to help ensure the best quality final product:

Once you have the iDVD project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.

To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.

Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
