Problems with Samsung SCX-4623 Printer Driver

I thought I had this problem solved, but it's happening again.

I keep getting a notification from Apple about updating my printer driver. ("Would you like to download and install software for “Samsung SCX-4623 Series”?"). When I click OK it searches for the driver but says it can't find it.

As suggested before in this forum, I went to System Preferences: Print & Scan and deleted the old driver. Then I clicked on the +. It said the Samsung SCX-4623 driver is available. I tried to download the driver and it tells me it can't find the driver on Apple's server.

So, as suggested before, I went to Samsung's website and downloaded the newest driver from there. I still get the notifications from Apple, and I can't get them to stop. I have to deal with this several times each day!

I also went to this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4670. It also says the printer driver is available from Apple, although the page refers to Lion and I have Mountain Lion.

What else can I try?

Thanks!

OS X Mountain Lion
