iTunes 11 Window too large for screen

I recently updated to iTunes 11 and I found that the iTunes window is now too big for my screen. It overlaps on all four sides and really makes it a pain to use. I can't even access the scroll bar on the right side of the screen. I am using a PC running Vista still. Any advice on how to resize this window to fit my screen is welcome!

Same problem here, minimizing the screen and bringing it back up solves the problem temporarily for me, but next time I restart Itunes it happens again.

I'm not too sure about Windows Vista im afraid, but you could try playing around with this;

1. Type ALT + Spacebar

2. Click on Size

3. Press the right arrow key (or the key that "points to" the window border that is off the screen): the cursor should jump to that window border

4. Press the left arrow key (or the opposite of whatever key you pressed in the previous step) to resize the window: the edge of the window should move in the direction you've chosen.

5. Press Enter when done resizing.

These instructions worked for me as a temporary fix on Windows 7. But like another person said, we should not have to do this, Apple needs to fix this.

This bug is very annoying and needs to be fixed by Apple. In the meantime, I have another work around that lowers the annoyance level slightly.

In Windows 7:

-right click on the itunes icon and selected properties.

-select the shortcut tab if it is not already selected.

-in the run field select minimized

-click ok to accept this change

Now, when itunes opens it opens minimized at the bottom of my screen. I then click on the icon and voila it opens at the correct size for my screen. So this adds an extra click each time I open itunes but at least I am forced to and the problem is automatically solved.

Now if Apple could just get it sorted and fix the bug that would be great!

Dear all,

Jumping into the discussion, adding some information to the post. I am running iTunes on Intel MacBook with Mac OS X Lion, and I have same problem. iTunes window is couple of centimeters too large for the screen, each time downsizing it to fit my screen, but at each launch of iTuens, problem is back; get's really anoying.

Anybody any experience with the problem under Mac OS?

Thanks in advance, have a nice day!
