No. The only way to get an engraved iPad is to order one from Apple (in the store or online). Engraving is not done in the stores.

Something to consider before ordering an engraved iPad. It cannot be returned unless it turns out to be defective. Engraving an iPad yourself (or having it done by someone else) will void the warranty

Follow-up thought to James Ward ... personalized/engraved iPad may be harder to sell or pass on to others later. Some people are suprised that "For Pookie" makes an iPad less desirable on the open market.
