I have an ipod touch and recently updated my itunes and now my ipod keeps saying it is in recovery and needs to be restored. I keep attempting to do it (as it takes about 45 min.) and afterwards I get the same message. The screen tells me to plug in.

I have an ipod touch and recently performed the latest updates of itunes. It said there were problems with my ipod and it need to be restored. I did that and now it says it's in recovery mode and that I need to restore it. It takes 45 minutes and I've tried it several times and keep getting same message. My ipod is now unusable and it has a photo of a plug with an itunes icon telling me to plug it in. It is plugged in??? I restarted the computer, tried another computer, reset my ipod and nothing. Help!
