What is "IOFireWireWDHID.kext" ?? This keeps coming up with a message, "Installed improper and can not be used. Reinstall it or contact vendor for updater." I check "info" & it's Apple-Western Digital. I don't know what to do??

Are you using an external FireWire hard disk drive?
Is it a Western Digital hard disk?
Is it still working?
The message means that system extension is not compatible with Snow Leopard. You might peruse Western Digital's support for a possible update. If your drive is working normally you don't need it anyway.
I had a "My Book" backup drive-but it died. This was 2 yrs ago. This message just started coming up since I loaded Snow Leopard. I do have some issues with Itunes-you know how you click on the Apple and force quite programs. When I sync my IPhone to laptop, I have to go to the Apple and force quit IPhoto & I've noticed lately the Itunes (which is below IPhoto), has "no Icon" next to Itunes. I "Spotlight" traced it and it's coming from: System/Library/Extensions It's also from 3/16/2006 there's like 3 files with this date??

The drive may be gone but the incompatible extension is still there. You no longer need it.
Since you already found its location using Spotlight, drag it to the Trash, then restart your Mac. The message should be gone.

To prevent iPhoto from opening when you connect your iPhone, go to iPhoto Preferences > General, and change "Connecting camera opens" thus
