I am updating my ipod nano 6th Generation with my computer having Windows7. I have already installed the Apple Mobile USB driver but it is not showing in my Itunes, also it is not appearing in My Computer as a hard drive. Have reset the ipod many times, rebooted the computer several times, re-installed the latest version of Itunes but to no avail. Please help.

Have you tried another computer to help determine if you have a computer or iPod problem?

Yes, cable change didnt work, but computer change did. What could possibly be wrong with my computer, considering the other computer was also in my office having the same Third Party security softwares and the same hardware.
There was a small configuration change which i needed to to in my security software. Its working fine now. Sorry for the trouble.
