Spy Bubble on my Phone

I'm positive last week my boyfriend went behind my back and jailbroke then installed spy bubble on my iphone 4. I'd like to uninstall it since I feel it's a blatant invasion of privacy. Is there a way to do it without a factory restore? And if not can I do a factory restore on my own and successfully remove it or am I better off bringing it to the apple store to be sure it's completely removed?

Not sure what spy bubble is but if it is not an authorized app, then, yes your phone may have been jailbroken. In which case we can not offer too many suggestions as discussion of jailbroken phones is not allowed here. You could try going into settings general reset erase all content and settings and start over and reset up your phone. You could try to restore as new through iTunes. Be aware that if your phone was jailbroken that these methods may no longer work. You may also want to evaluate this relationship since he may have trust and respect issues with you.

Thank you for the replies. I'm positive he did it because I saw in the browser history on the mac that he was viewing my calls, texts etc. I confronted him. I have been majorly reevlauating our relationship for a long time but there are children involved. We're not speaking right now... well, I'm not speaking to him. Except that I said I'd take care of it myself because I don't trust him to touch my phone. I do have cydia on my phone... another reason I'm sure. Would it be a good idea to take it to the apple store to see if they'll make sure it's gone or is it best to just do it myself?

Thanks. I was hoping that since it wasn't done with my permission they might see fit to help me, lol. I know how to restore the phone so that's not really my issue, I just want to be sure that the spyware is removed when I do. I backed up all of my photos at work yesterday and am unfortunately sacrificing all of my music since the laptop I had it on has crashed since my last update... but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for my privacy and the privacy of my friends. I don't think he has a right to know their business... or my every thought.
