i'm running Mac OS X 10.6.8 on a macbook pro, Yesterday i updated to Itune 11. I couldn't access the whole library from the playlists so created a playlist with the whole library got prompted to add all tracks from icloud now itunes crashes on opening ?

i'm running Mac OS X 10.6.8 on a macbook pro, Yesterday i updated to Itune 11. I couldn't access the whole library from the playlists so created a playlist with the whole library and got prompted to add all tracks from icloud which I said yes to now itunes crashes on opening ? I have tried update itunes again but it makes no difference, I tried to overwrite itunes with earlier versions but it won't allow me to update to an older version. I'm pretty sure the problem has been caused by Icloud but I don't know how to cancel the update from icloud to itunes.

I can no longer use Itunes on my computer can anyone help please?
