As mentioned your HD could be a problem however it's very difficult to say what is going on with your system. It could benefit from a simple RAM upgrade or perhaps the HD is too full. You will need to do some troubleshooting in order to find out. I would recommend first attempting to looking at your RAM issue, you can learn how to evaluate it in Apple's Activity Monitor to read System Memory and determine how much RAM is being used article and if you determine the RAM is not the issue then post back and we can suggest other troubleshooting things you can do.

Hi, I have 621 mb out of 1,5GB available n memory, 148 GB free on disk. ?

In my opinion I think your system would benefit by a RAM upgrade. It's pretty low on RAM, I would recommend visiting OWC (www.macsales.com) or Crucial for RAM upgrades. Without knowing exactly which iMac you own I cannot recommend beyond that. Both companies can help you determine which iMac you own and how much RAM it can accommodate. My recommendation would be to install as much RAM as possible.
