Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I found a thread that said to go into the edit tab for a software instrument and from there I could make a sound generator for the plugin I installed but I don't see an option for it. I'm trying to use a soundfont plugin.

that's the edit menu, not tab. skim this tutorial on installing and using SoundFonts:
