How to create keyboard shortcut for special characters?

  1. Pilcrow Sign
  2. Section Sign
  3. (mathematical logic symbols)

If you are using the US keyboard type Option+6 to get the section symbol. Option+7 produces the pilcrow.


Access to the mathematical logic symbols is from the Pages > Edit > Special Characters .... menu. This launches the Character Viewer and there is a category for Math Symbols. Double-click any symbol and it will appear at the last cursor position in Pages.
