My iBook is not being accepted in the iBookstore. It's a brochure I've created for my company, but now, after 6 weeks of work and publishing it, I find out that marketing materials are not allowed. Is there any way around this? Or is there any other option for me to do with this file so that all of my work wasn't a waste of time?

I do believe that apple only allows informational and fiction books on the I bookstore. You could try creating a website and put the brosure on the website sectioned up.
If the brochure is to be distributed for free you don't need to publish it to the iBookstore. Just provide a link to it on your website.
You're only forced to go through the iBookstore if you want to charge for the book. Otherwise you can share it freely whereever and however you choose.

Why not make a modern HTML5 website, instead - you'll have iOS and Andriod support out-of-the-box and not bother with any stores, etc.
This is what I wanted to do, but I couldn't figure out how. I realized only a few days ago that I could export the book into an iPad downloadable file, beause I had been looking for a 'save as' function, which doesn't exist (I'm a bit slow, it would seem). But now that I've found the export function all is good. It would still be nice to have my material on the iBookstore, but for now at least I have options.
