ipod touch not recognized
Upgraded to the latest iTunes, error message said my ipod touch wasn't compatible with the update and I downgraded to iTunes 10.6.3 and now iTunes doesn't see the Touch anymore running Windows XP

Here and install iTunes veriosn 11 on the computer.

If you have iOS 6 or later on the iPod you need iTunes 10.5 or later.
