Safari won't reset
Thanks in advance for any insights that anyone can offer.
the problem resides on a secondary users account on my iMac running ML, though the behevior predated the upgrade (sorry, didn't clean install).
Essentailly, every time I start up Safari, it loads to a youtube page (which was viewed many months ago) that is neither my home page nor the last page I visited prior to shutting down.
What's more, Safari starts up with a history of about 5 pages in the cache. I can push the back button several times before I get to a page where the back button is no longer highlighted.
I have attempted to clear the the history... does not work.
I have tried to reset safari, and quit, but the problem persists once I reopen safari.
I have manually removed the history.plist from the ~library preferences directory, and have removed the safari folder altogether from the ~library directory and yet it still persists.
I have changed the permissions to the secondary users account to Read Only for everybody but the secondary user, then reset safari - again, problem persists.
It's more of an annoyance than anything else - but it is a really grating youtube video and I'd like not to look at it anymore.
again, thanks for the assist.
