Itunes help

It seems I have a new update or something to my Itunes which I did not ask for. I cannot use it. It is ugly, unorganized, and cannot add anything to the library which is found in a tiny box up in the left hand corner of the Itunes page. How can I go back to the version that was on there without losing stuff out of my Itunes now. Thanks for any help I can receive
