How view iPad video on my TV?

How can I get what I am watching on my iPad to view on my TV? For instance, I am considering purchasing the NFL Sunday Ticket mobile version and would like the option to show it on my TV. Would the apple airport express help with that?

You have 2 choices really. An Apple TV, or the HDMI adapter for the iPad.

Either one will let you transfer video to the TV via an HDMI cable. However the Apple Tv would require a Wireless network for the iPad to send video to it.

Where as the HDMI adapter will connect directly to the iPad, but you will be tethered to the TV.
