Calendar sync new event

I have a MacBook Air and an iPhone 4. When I sync via wifi some of the calendar events change to "new event"?

Well make sure that the calendar in unchecked. When you sync your iPhone, click on your iPhone and go to "Info". Is the calendar unchecked? I'm not sure why it would come up as New Event when synced with Wi-Fi. But most issues are due to using iCloud calendar and the calendar not with iCloud. Is it duplicating any events, or did you add an event by accident and not notice?

Sync calendar says "Your calendars are being synced with your iPhone over the air from iCloud."

I created the events via my macbook but when I connected to wifi some of the events changed to new events and in slightly different time locations as if they were saved prior to labeling and adjusting to the right time. Since this had happened before, I waited and refreshed the calendars before I closed the macbook. The problem doesn't present until I sync. I havent changed any settings lately so I'm a little confused....
