Youtube and Google Maps are not a part of iOS6. APple and Google's contracts expired so it can't be a part of the bundled apps. If you need youtube you can access it via the mobile site m.youtube.com, or there's an iPhone app, or there are third party apps like Jasmine you can use.

Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

Google updated its YouTube app today (for iPad).

Just got the update, and is looking good, Will have to play around with it later.

Its even got voice search on iPads without siri. That's very cool.

I'm having a really lousy experience so far with the you tube app since the last update. No matter what I do, I cannot get rid of the tool bar in full screen mode and videos are freezing and taking freaking FOREVER to load all of a sudden. Sometimes the videos never even start at all. Occasionally I just get a flash of the QuickTime logo and then the never ending spinning circle of a loading video that never loads. I Never used to have this problem with the stock you tube app. (The little yellow TV looking icon). Man do I want that back !

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

Did that and no improvement, but thank you. The best solution I found was to download "You Player" from the app store. Works like a charm and no tool bar in full screen mode !!
