I have tried countless times to restore my IPod Touch and just when it is about completed I get an error message that I have timed out and to try again. Help! ITunes shows that software is updated but I still have picture of USB and ITuneon screen of IPod

ITunes says that the IPod software is updated but my IPod shows a picture of a USB Cord and the ITunes circle.

Maybe:

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .


Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Last, try restoring on another computer
