Dec 4, 2012 3:05 PM in response to tzbikowskiby igotgoodmusicon,Thanks. I am trying to limp along with an old monitor for 6 months til I can get the Thunderbolt. The View Sonic, N2010 is pre HDMI and only has S-video and YPrPb. Is this hopeless?

You can try MiniDisplay to HDMI and then HDMI to YPrPb - but it gets fiddly and uncomfortable :-)

Dec 4, 2012 4:07 PM in response to tzbikowskiby igotgoodmusicon,Thanks. You have pointed me toward the need for a new monitor. Not unexpected. Do you have time for one more question?Let me risk it. Once I have the adapter for the mini display port, what connects the adapter to the monitor? I apologize. I have just emerged from the laptop world and am weak in the bits department. I appreciate your help.
