Loop Browser Suddenly Half Erased

One day, my loop browser was half grayed out when I opened up GB. The files are all still on the hard drive and I have tried re-indexing multiple times, but only the iLife sound effects and selected GB effects (I've only found the vinyl scratches so far) copy back into the loop browser. They all will copy into the editing window with all the data but will not show up in the browser.

I would like to know how to get them back. Any suggestions?
