Dent on iPod Touch?

Hi all, for a long time now, my 4th generation ipod touch has had a dent on the back of it. The dent is around the upper righthand corner. Could this dent have damaged anything inside the device? I ignored it at first, but now I'm noticing that my iPod isn;t working as well as it used to. It glitches more often, apps freeze and shut down, and the battery dosen't last nearly as long. Thanks!

I doubt it. I would expect any problem to be immediately noticed.

For you problems

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
