Q: will my project change when I upgrade?

I have created a photo book and when I went to purchase I was advised to upgrade to latest Iphoto. Will the upgrade alter the layout?

Depends

What is the current version version? What version are you updating to? And of course you always do a backup prior to any update/upgrade
