I have just got an iphone4 from a friend and have 2 issues with it firsly when i connect it up to my PC my itunes (Latest version) will not recognize the phone although windows explorere recognize's it and identified it as an iphone

hello, Can anybody advise why my iphone is not trcognized by my itunes (latest version)??? also why there s no sound on any video's i make using the Camers app?? I think it is an iphone 4
