I have 2 graphics cards how do I prioritize one?

I have 2 graphics cards. An Intel HD, and an AMA Radeon HD. The new mac client for League of Legends does not run well on the AMD Radeon. I was wondering if i could prioritize my Intel card for just League, or if I switched it over would the switch effect any of my other programs?
