does backup include all contacts

I have an iPhone 3G s IOS 6.0 and will be upgrading in next few months to 4g/s

Does backup to iTunes include all contacts/Calendars/ Notes/Reminders and Wapp Chats?

iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1.1
