Garage Band exports to Tones in iTunes do not appear!

Garage Band 6.0.5, iTunes 11.0, OS 10.6.8

I built a ringtone in Garage band and shared it to iTunes as a ringtone. GarageBand appeared to do it's usual conversion but the file never showed up in iTunes at all, much less in the "Tones". I tried this several more times with the same result.

Is this just a bug? Is it unique to me? Is there a work around? Anyone have any ideas?
