Help!! I tried backing up from my pc but it backed up from over a month ago :-/

I'm really upset, my phone flickered and I lost all my contacts. I went to do a restore on my work pc and it told me that I last backed up on iCloud at 5:26am today. The pressed restore backup and for some reason it backed up from a month ago so now I have lost all my recent text messages which are really important for family court reasons. I have come home to see if I had a more recent pc back up but there was none. Only the same iCloud back up at 526am but the button cannot be pressed for restore backup. Can anyone help. I'm completely desperate!!
