Help with iweb page with link to a pdg

I made changes to a pdf that I modified for my web page. I have not been able to recall how I did this before. I believe that I placed a transparent "mask" to limit anyone from manipulating the txt. I need to replace the old pdf with the new one but I can not select the link or anything else on that page. Help!
