I used to have Mobile Me,  and have since moved to iCloud,  just for my Mail.   I still have Snow Leopard,  so I can

not use iCloud to sinc other devices.  Plus,  I don't even have any other devices anyway.

ICloud has provided me with 5 GBs of storage.   The Q is - where is this storage and how can I get to it to see how much I have used?

Another item.   Mobile Me is still listed in System Preferences under Internet.   iCloud is not there.   Do I need to fix that,  or does it matter?

iCloud storage is not directly accessibile in the manner of the MobileMe iDisk: it's for email, 'Photo Journal' (populated from iPhoto for iOS), backup of iOS devices (not Macs) and 'Documents in the Cloud', which are iWork documents uploaded from within the applications. All these facilities other than Mail require Lion 10.7.2 at minimum and the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems. You can't get a readout of the amount of storage used on Snow Leopard for this reason.

Thank you.  Very clear answer.  5 GBs should be plenty for my Mail storage.  I assume that my  storage should be about the same as the size of the MAIL folder in the Library file folder?   I have less than one GB in MAIL according to Quick Look.
