I had to rebuild one of our servers from a TM backup - everything has gone on ok with the exception of iCal and Contacts - the system names and IP's haven't changed however the clients report an error that The server is busy or unavailable - it is currently unable to handle the connnection for account "my account name" due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. If this continues contact the server administrator.

I have looked at the iCal logs and can see an obvious error:

pg.InternalError: could not connect to server: No such file or directory

Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/var/pgsql_socket/.s.PGSQL.5432"?

Can anyone please shed any light? I've so far spent 18 hours trying to get the server backup and running - if this doesn't work I might have to clean install which I really dont want to do as its running Open Directory and Mail quite happily..
