So I updated my iTunes to the new 11 and when my wife came home to listen to her playlist she noticst that it was missing. Not all the playlist are missing just hers.Has this happen to anyone else or am i just the lucky one.

Having the same problem myself, lost all of my playlists in iTunes and now I can't even import the playlists from my other mac?!! - When I click import, and then the txt file, it just does nothing.
Would like to say, I found mine lol, they were hidden!! The button is hard to see when you are skimming about!
yeah same thing has happened to me, but some are there but none of the music is there either, some songs show, but when to click t asks for a transfer and to buy... this is beyond me as not sure what to do now, apart from contacting apple to assist
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

I had the same problem and followed these instructions, and success! I recovered all my playlists and iTunes located all my music again. Hope this helps everyone who had this problem.
