Hi,

So sorry that this happened to you.

As CT said, Apple's Find My iPad is a great tool to help you locate, lock, and wipe your Apple Devices.

Find My iPad

In some areas, local police authorities can use the information provided in Find My iPad to help you recover the device, but not all will do this for free. Most police authorities in Ontario, Canada will persue the "theif" and recover the device for you.

Best of luck!
