In-store backup

If my contacts were backed up in an apple store, are they available *somewhere*? I do not use icloud, but I'm wondering, now that I've lost my phone after a very recent replacement, if my contacts were stored during this back up. For clarification: I was purchasing a replacement phone and they backed up my contacts to transfer them onto a new phone (which is now not working). Thanks for any help.
