how do i extend the range of my existing network with the Airport Express? I have an existing network with a Linksys E300 router. Please advise.

If your goal is to extend the Linksys with the AirPort via a wireless connection between them then this won't work. However, if you can work with them being interconnected by Ethernet, then they could be configured for a roaming network which effectively does the same thing.
