iPhone 5 hanging when I try to send a txt within an app.

When trying to share a location from Maps or trying to share photos from my camera roll, my iPhone hangs. The app doesn't crash, it just never responds after selecting share via message. I'm running 6.0.1 and have an iPhone 5. I bought it 3 days ago and restored from an iCloud backup of my iPhone 4 with the same iOS. I have Verizon.
