How can I reactivate the scroll bar for home folder applications?
I have somehow erased the scroll bar for all applications in the home folder. I am sure there is a simple solution but I do not know it. Help!

Scroll bar only displays when window doesn't display all items. Make the window smaller and it should return.
Tried this-still no scroll bar.
first what version of the OS do you have? Have a look at System Preferences->General at the Show Scroll Bars setting. Set it to Always
10.6.8; I don't have a General tab after clicking on System Preferences; I have several categories to choose from, but not General
Ah Snow Leopard.
You should post this question to Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard a lot has changed in the UI and I dont; have a working copy of SL to have a look at.
I'm running SL, so your issue isn't the Lion/ML loss of normal scrollbars issue. Create a new admin user account, log into it, and see if the issue persists.
No need. I've used the report this link to move it to the SL forums.
