Cannot Sync Podcasts with newest update

I downloaded the newest version of I tunes and I can no longer Sync my Podcasts. Can anyone give assistance? This seems pretty straight forward, but nothing is syncing (I have had an I-phone for nearly six years so this is not new to me). Although, the new version is somewhat different...
