I currently have an iPhone3GS and am buying a new iPhone5. Can you import/copy the contacts on the 3GS over to the 5?

I currently have an iPhone3GS and am buying a new iPhone5. Can you import/copy the contacts from the 3GS over to the 5, even though the SIMs are different?
