Is there a way to disable the Invitations part of the calendar app so that it doesn't show any updates for meeting requests?

Is there a way to disable the Invitations part of the calendar app so that it doesn't show any updates for meeting requests? We are using Exchange and Outlook 2010 and we have users that are delegating their calendar invites so that only their delegates receive meeting requests/updates that are sent to them. Unfortunately, even though these meeting requests/updates aren't sent to the user in Outlook they do go to the user's iPhone. Is there a way to disable Invitations in the calendar app on the iPhone?
