After updating iTunes, I cannot move podcasts from iTunes to my iPod classic

When I updated to the new iTunes software this week, I am now having issues with podcasts. I can download and refresh podcasts to iTunes without a problem but I cannot move podcasts from iTunes to my iPod classic (160gb). I have tried to click and drag podcasts from iTunes to my iPod but this only works sporadically. Some podcasts will not transfer to my iPod at all. What's going on? I did not change any settings or anything, so the update should not have created any problems like this.

HELP!!
