how can I get Mail v4.6
I have v4.5, but don't see an obvious download or upgrade to v4.6. Any hints? Thanks!

Mail is not a separate download; it comes with Mac OS X and the updaters to it. If you have Mac OS X 10.6.2 as your profile indicates, update to 10.6.8 and you'll also get the most recent version of Mail that will work with 10.6.
