All of my contacts are on my iphone....but I have to switch service providers. Will changing the provider and phone number wipe out my contacts??

hmmmm. Sprint said they have to wipe the phone...and everything is lost.
But why? You should make a backup before you let them wipe it.
Anyway if you have sync previously, the contacts should be in
for Windows: Outlook
for Mac: Contacts
applications. Hope you can find your contacts.
